Scope & content
Photograph shows a group of twenty-seven Inuit posed in three to four rows. There is every age and gender shown. Emulsion has been used to block out everything other then the people who are seated in the snow. All are dressed in their traditional fur lined animal skins. Some women have children on their backs. Some people wear mittens, some have their hoods up, and some do not. All of the sitters are looking directly at the viewer in confrontational sobriety.
