Scope & content: 1 page, single-sided. Folded once vertically and seven times horizontally. Document is a printed customs declaration form, filled in by hand by Mindla de Kort, for a package being sent to Ichcak Teig in Haifa, Israel, containing gifts for a newborn cousin. Narrative: Mindla (Majerczyk) de Kort was the grandmother of the donor. Ichcak (Isaac) Teig was a family member who is also a Holocaust survivor. Isaac was deported from Transylvania; after Liberation he went to Belgium and then immigrated illegally to Israel. He came to live in Montreal in the 1950s. .
