1 page, double-sided. Document is a printed postcard, sent from Sally Bähr to Mindla de Kort. In the postcard, Sally asks Mrs. de Kort to go to his apartment to get his glasses. Then he asks about how Ruth is doing and whether they are still visiting her every Sunday. He asks them to send her greetings and a big kiss. He adds that he has received their packages and asks for them to write to him more often and to send more packages. He also asks them to visit Wolf, the man now living in his apartment, and to ask him to send a package sometime. He writes that he hopes to see them again soon and thanks them for everything they have done. Narrative: Louis de Kort was the second husband of Mindla (Majerczyk) de Kort, grandmother of the donor. Sally Bähr was a tenant of the de Korts. He was deported from Malines to Auschwitz on April 19, 1943, as prisoner number 551 on transport XX. He jumped off the train but was caught. Transport XX arrived in Auschwitz on April 22, 1943. He was selected for labour and received prisoner number 117-475. Sally Bähr did not survive.
