Bension, delegate of the Eretz Israel (Palestine) Foundation Fund Keren Hayesod, will shortly proceed to Tangiers. He has asked me to introduce him and his work to you as the Head of the Tangiers Jewish Community. I am gladly prepared to do so.There is hardly a nobler purpose conceivable for the Jews throughout the world than to co-operate in the historic task of the rebuilding of their National Home in Palestine, and to this end to support the Eretz Israel (Palestine) Foundation Fund Keren Hayesod, which is one of the main instruments for achieving this purpose.Dr. Bension has by long experience and service shown himself a very able representative of the cause and will, I trust, succeed in arousing the active interest of your Community, and particularly so if you will be good enough to lend him your assistance.Read automatically; may contain mistakes.
