- Scope & content
- Petition: indicating that they were told they could only continue to hunt on north shore of St. Lawrence lmtil the end of the year prior to the meeting in which the Algonquins of Three Rivers asked under what authority Abenaquois could hunt there; therefore needed to get permission in writing. Indicating displeasure at being blamed for recent deaths among Algonquins, Nipissings, Tete de Boules and Iroquois. Further stating that desire was not to ask for hunting grounds on north shore of St Lawrence just until end of year, but to have right to do so perpetually.
