Sequence in Place Jacques-Cartier in Old Montreal showing people sitting on benches, relaxing, teenagers tending to a flower stand, people and homeless men walking on for money and entering a tavern. We see stone buildings, men restoring a stone building, a police car, the "Hotel Nelson", restaurants and terraces, the bar-restaurant "Le Nautique", sign and the building of the "Le St-Amable restaurant français"; we see tourists taking pictures, a small child drinking at a fountain with the help of an elderly man, a lot of children eating and elderly people sitting on benches, a homeless man walking wearing a hat decorated with flowers; there is a lot of activity. Français : Séquence tournée à la place Jacques-Cartier dans le Vieux-Montréal, montrant des gens assis sur des bancs en train de relaxer, des adolescents qui tiennent un kiosque de fleurs, des passants et des sans-abris mendiant de l'argent et entrant dans une taverne. On voit des immeubles de pierre, des hommes en train de restorer un immeuble de pierre, une auto de police, l'hôtel Nelson, des terrasses de restaurants, le bar-restaurant "Le Nautique", l'enseigne et l'immeuble "Le St-Amable restaurant français"; on voit des touristes qui prennent des photos, un petit garçon buvant à une fontaine aidé par un homme âgé, beaucoup d'enfants en train de manger et des gens âgés assis sur des bancs, un itinérant se promène coiffé d'un chapeau sur lequel il a piqué des fleurs; il y a beaucoup d'activité.
