- A letter from Dr. David Sabbah, Grand Rabbin du Québec, in a supplement to the Grand Rabbinat's Kol Yaacov publication in January 1981. The letter (and booklet) celebrated the laying of a cornerstone and the beginning of construction on the Centre Sépharade Rabbinique Maghen David, which was to become the central synagogue and seat for the Grand Rabbinat du Québec.
